The Surgical Departments of Semmelweis University warmly invite you to the third Budapest Proctology Workshop to be held on 12-13 November, 2021.
The success of the first and the second meetings and requests from participants motivated us to organise a third conference. This time the two-day course will be focusing on the everyday practice of more complex aspects of proctology. The conference will be just as interactive as it was three and five years ago. Some of Europe’s foremost practitioners will be delivering state-of-the-art lectures followed by video presentations and longer, interactive discussions with the audience.
The Organizing Committee remains vigilant in monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic. This event is planned as Hybrid format with both onsite and virtual versions and will allow participants who, for a variety of reasons, can not join the in-person conference in Budapest to follow the meeting via our own stremaed platform. We believe that our decison will allow many of you to participate in the Budapet Proctology Meeting.
The main topics discussed at the conference will be as follows:
- Hemorrhoidal disease
- Anal fistula
- Anal fissure and its differential diagnosis
- Anal incontinence
- Constipation, obstructed defecation and pelvic organ prolapse
- Errors and faults in proctology
This is the first time we will be organising a pre-congress course on 11 November 2021. During this course, we are intending to enrich the conference programme with live surgery broadcasts as well as an ultrasound course in proctology, in the hope of providing pre-registered participants with the opportunity to acquire practical master strokes in the framework of a real masterclass. The pre-congress-course will be streamed as well.
We are confident that this conference will be invaluable in providing diagnostic insight and therapeutic answers to a full range of complex questions raised by pelvic floor pathology.
For the third time, we intend to bring together acknowledged expertise and the most enthusiastic audience from the whole world. The course will be conducted in English.
Official language of the workshop is English, the number of participants is limited to 250.
We look forward to seeing you in Budapest in November
